Pathwork Quilt

Patchwork quilt
 Of a thousand colors
 Of which some of them don't fit
 Whose threads are strewn about
 fraying at the splits
 Lavender, ebony, mint, scarlet mismatched bands
 Margins strewn and thin 
 Threadbare unseen 
 Ripping at the seams 
 A quilt of one thousand 
 Melodies weaved 
 That strum forever on.
