Wear Glitter On Your Eyes

Before my grandma passed she sang this song to me:

Wear glitter on your eyes
and colors in your gowns
and flowers in your crown
when shadows come to haunt you
and the rain does not abate
with arms wide open
go dance within the rain

where the water does not come
and when the night is fury
and the battles are not yet won

Wear glitter on you eyes
and spin around in time
when there is nothing left to give
and life is all dismay
wear glitter in your eyes
wear color in your soul
let the sun shine in you
and dance with wisdom old.
