All of the little animals speak

All of the little animals talk 
But not the spider, 
The spider does not speak 

The cicadas, the frogs,the crickets,
 including the grass, they talk 
but the spider hides her hoary head
she does not speak 
But she sees all 
She strings their pains and joys in the cool september air
but rather still does not speak no, she writes  
without sound, without speaking 
and yet Arachne's tensile threads contain Minerva's mysteries eternal

Moreover no one comprehends her messages 
she speaks without text but deciphers all
The birds see the spider and they comprehend 
but they do not comprehend the spinstress's silent songs
