Posting poems publicly after nine years of scribbling in the margins of my notebooks . . . .

Welcome. I am the Silent Singer. Yo soy La Cantante Callada.
How much does vanity cost?
Realizing these poems should not use pronouns nor I
Images and symbols, love, and loss are not singular now owned.
And much more is learned through silence than spoken syllables
How much more could be learned through acknowledging
That identity and experiences are shared social experiences
That a singular person has no right to claim.
And thus will be retained this anonymity.
All life experiences and individuality are shared experienced. Even in the act of reflexivity, we express community and commonalities.
